Last weekend, we travelled to Italy, to perform at the Trance Gate party in Milan. What a damn great weekend this was... Where should we start... was it the nice 25 degrees celcius temperature? The spring in the air? The beautiful people? We can still hardly believe the atmosphere we experienced during our stay in this beautiful city.After having arrived at the airport Orio al Serio, we were brought to the center of Milan (thanks Seba!). We checked into the hotel, after which we had some nice Italian food in a local restaurant. This is where the party started already. A big group of die-hard trance fans from all around Italy, had gathered in the restaurant and gave us a really warm welcome.
After a quick dinner, we chilled a bit with 'Mister Trance Gate' Gianluca, Seba, Italian DJ Manuel Le Saux and his nice girlfriend (thanks for translating the menu!).
The time had come to hit the road and go to the club (Juiss). Right after Manuel Le Saux we entered the DJ booth and we played till the end of the party. Although (or maybe because) the trance scene in Italy is not really big (yet?), the audience at the club was one of the best we ever met. Non-stop dancing, cheering, applauding, even singing along our tracks... what more could a DJ want...? I would like to show a big thumb up to all Trance Gate visitors, you guys are incredible!
The next day, after checking out the city center of Milan, we surprised Trance Gate forum member NKStef (happy birthday again!) by attending his garden party. Just before leaving to the airport to catch our return flight, we did a little 45 minutes DJ set at the party which was, to say it in all modesty, highly appreciated. The party was litterally highlighted by a fire performer during the set. Awesome!
One thing is for sure, we won't easily forget this weekend! We felt really welcome, thanks to all of the Italian trance minded people we met. Grazie a tutti e arrivederci presto!
